The automation process starts

Get rid of the
work:

  1. SherpaLoader® uses its 3D camera and laser system to detect blanks on the material staging device
  2. It picks up the first blank and places it into the clamping device of the machine tool
  3. While the machining is in progress, the SherpaLoader® picks up the next blank and waits in front of the machine's safety door
  4. Once machining is complete, it removes the finished part from the machine and inserts the next blank
  5. This process repeats until the last part of the job is completed

Raw Material Staging

The SherpaLoader® offers maximum flexibility in the staging of blanks
— whether for small quantities or large series, tiny or lightweight workpieces, or large and heavy parts.

Small Batches: Table Trolleys

For small parts or low quantities, carts offer the ideal solution, providing 1.2 sqm of storage space.

image
Medium Batches: SpaceBox

SpaceBoxes extend manless production time! Each SpaceBox offers up to 6 sqm of storage, two SpaceBoxes fit in a single robot cell. On 12 sqm there is space for 3,000 small parts.

Heavy Workpieces: Pallets

The SherpaLoader® can handle heavy raw materials directly from pallets, loading and unloading them back onto the pallet after machining. Two Euro pallets (standard size 1,200 x 800 mm) are used for material staging.

Stacked Workpieces

The powerful 3D camera and laser system can detect stacked workpieces on pallets and carts.

Robot Cell Structure

The SherpaLoader® robot cell is a modular system, configured from 50 standardized hardware and software modules. These modules are tailored to your application, without additional development costs.

Customized layouts
for your production space

Material feeding
from any side

Each CNC machine is different. Some have two centrally closing safety doors, and others have one narrow door. Sometimes, the machine control panel is mounted on the left, possibly movable, while in other cases, it is on a swivel arm to the right. The space in front of the machine may limited, but necessarily always. Robot cells that are designed for one specific setup fail to work.

The SherpaLoader® is different: Designed for six standard layouts, the robot cell adapts to your specific machine tool and production workflow. This ensures optimum material flow and efficient space utilization. Through collaborative planning, we evaluate your unique spatial requirements and offer expert guidance based on years of automation experience.

Compatible with any
standard CNC Machine

Featuring a universal interface, the SherpaLoader® can be connected to any standard turning or
milling machine, regardless of age. This allows the same SherpaLoader®
to retrofit an older machine or automate a new one with ease.
